Die META productions GmbH für Film- und Fernsehproduktion hat ihren Sitz in Berlin und Leipzig. 1992 vom Journalisten Ulrich Meyer gegründet, kann META productions inzwischen auf mehr als 20 erfolgreiche Jahre im Produktionsgeschäft zurückblicken – seit 1998 als Teil von Endemol Deutschland. Geschäftsführer der META productions ist Ollie Weiberg, er leitet ein Team von knapp 60 Mitarbeitern.
